We made an offer on a house in Moorpark. It was accepted and we are now in escrow. Escrow is scheduled to close on July 19th and we will be moving in on July 21st! The house is 10 yrs old 4 bedroom, 3 full bathrooms, 2019 square feet. We are really excited and look forward to moving in! My condo will be on the market soon and hopefully it will sell quickly too.

We had a wonderful wedding and honeymoon in the Cook Islands. Melinda's condo is currently at the end of escrow and scheduled to close today. We are both looking forward to buying a house in Moorpark and will look toward doing that in the next few months.

We got our marriage license today from the Ventura Country Court House. We are now ready to get married!

- We both met with our DJ and went over the wedding plans - what we would like the DJ to do, what kind of music to play (and not to play).

We finalized our honeymoon plans! We will be flying to the south pacific to the Cook Islands. We will spend 11 days / 10 nights on Rarotonga.

We got a lot accomplished today:
- Tuxedo's selected from the Men's Wearhouse
- Added items to our gift registries at Bed Bath & Beyond and The Home Depot.
- Added a Gift Registry section to the web site with links to our registries.
- Rehearsal dinner for the wedding party will be at Maggiano's Little Italy.

We went to Robbins Bros this morning and picked out our wedding bands! Afterwards we went over to the Wilcox house where we worked on the wedding invitations with Melinda's sisters, her Mom, and her friend Anne.

Nov 11-14, 2005Melinda and I took a trip to Chicago to visit Pam, Tom, Amber, Carly, and Trevor. Pam and Melinda took Amber and Carly to try on dresses. Amber and Carly will be the flower girls in the wedding. We also talked with cousin Michael on playing the intro music to the wedding.
We went to our first NFL football game and saw the Bears vs 49ers. As you can see, it was a little windy...

We had a busy day and got a lot done. We did some cake tasting in the morning, like the cake and put down a deposit with the bakery. At noon we tasted a few different dishes from a caterer, liked what we had and signed up. In the afternoon we met with a DJ, liked what we heard and signed up with the DJ company.

We booked a florist and photographer. Melinda picked out and bought a wedding dress with the help of her sisters, Mom, and best friend Carla.

Melinda surprised Jeff by getting off work early and decorating his patio with streamers, hearts, and pictures from their hiking trip the week before. Jeff got home early that day and was surprised by all the valentines decorations! Read more about that day.

Melinda and I started communicating through eHarmony. In a matter of hours we completed all 4 steps and already exchanged email addresses and phone numbers. A few days later we setup our first date.
