This last summer my cousin Chris and his girlfriend Taylor got engaged! They set their wedding date to be Dec 10, 2006. I volunteered to help out and make a wedding video for them. I thought it would be a great excuse to finally get to work with my video camera that Melinda gave me last December for my birthday. I also had a lot of footage I took on our honeymoon trip.
Anyway, a few weeks before our first Thanksgiving in our new house I started working on editing some of the footage I took last Christmas. I finally finished and burned the final copy on a DVD on Thanksgiving Day. We had invited all our local family over and had a great Thanksgiving with 19 people in our new Moorpark house. After dinner I previewed the video to everyone and it turned out pretty well.
This was a good practice run of editing the video to prepare for Chris and Taylor's wedding this weekend. Here is the finished Christmas 2005 video I posted on Google Video:
